Participation in the ECIU micro-module “Time Management Essentials,” organized by KTU, was an incredibly valuable experience. This course provided not only theoretical knowledge but also practical tools that continue to help me plan my time more efficiently, set clearer priorities, and avoid burnout. It was particularly useful to become familiar with different time management techniques, such as the Eisenhower Matrix, the Pomodoro Method, and the “1 is more than 0” rule. The course allowed me to better understand myself and realize how these methods can be combined and applied in everyday life.
Before the course, I thought I was doing everything to plan my time effectively, but I still felt exhausted. During the course, I realized that just having a to-do list is not enough – it requires a clear prioritization system and the right planning habits. The biggest challenge was applying the methods practically – planning theoretically is easy, but in reality, it takes time to develop new habits.
One of the most important lessons was conscious rest and maintaining a proper work-life balance. I understood that productivity is not about how much you do, but about how wisely you distribute your energy. Now, I plan my time more responsibly and feel better.
This micro-module was extremely useful, and I hope the skills I gained will turn into long-lasting habits that will help me not only in my academic but also in my professional life.
